Igoe and Atkins claim Spark Developments Alan Healy Memorial Rally victory

27 April 2026

Michael Igoe and Will Atkins closed out the Protyre Circuit Rally Championship with an overall victory at the Spark Developments Alan Healy Memorial Rally in a time of 49m03s.

Navigating the challenging course in their Citroen C3 Rally2, the duo successfully held off a late charge from rivals John Griffiths and Emma Morrison. An unexpected spin caught the Skoda Fabia R5 crew off-guard during SS5, leaving them with eight seconds to close in the remaining four stages.

Consistency would turn out to be the key, with just one second separating Igoe and Atkins from Griffiths and Morrison at the end. Chris West and Keith Hounslow were the best of the two-wheel-drive finishers, finishing third in their Peugeot 306 Maxi, 28 seconds shy of top spot.

John and Alex Stone’s Volkswagen Polo GTi R5 led them just short of the podium in fourth, while Paul Wedgbury and Alastair Moffatt rounded out the top five in their Skoda Fabia Proto.
