Season’s greetings from MSV!

24 December 2025

We’ve reached the close of yet another memorable motorsport season across the MotorSport Vision (MSV) group of circuits. Whether you’re a volunteer marshal, official, spectator, competitor or any other participant, we would like to extend our warmest best wishes to all of you ahead of a well-earned break during the festive period.

MSV circuits staged a superb range of national and international motorsport events throughout 2025, with significant trackside audiences joining us to enjoy the action week after week. Race events ran from March through to November, but stage rallies through the winter ensured it’s been almost 12 months of non-stop motorsport.

A packed national calendar formed the backbone of a season across the five UK race circuits, though international events played a key role too. This included the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship’s annual visit to Donington Park, where fans were treated to a sublime farewell treble from Toprak Razgatlioglu during his final season in the series.

Further highlights from the global stage included Brands Hatch’s GT World Challenge Europe event on the full Grand Prix circuit. The same venue also hosted another round of the NASCAR Euro Series, as part of American SpeedFest powered by Lucas Oil, which once again delivered a full weekend of themed family fun.

Domestically, the Bennetts British Superbike Championship came down to another epic battle between former champions. Kyle Ryde ultimately retained the title at Brands Hatch, holding off a season-long challenge from returning favourite Bradley Ray.

The same venue also crowned this year’s British Touring Car Champion, with Tom Ingram seizing the main prize for a second time after a tussle against Ash Sutton. The Brands Hatch round also offered fans a chance to bid farewell to 2024 champion Jake Hill, for the time being at least, as he will race internationally next year.

MSV venues also welcomed several rounds of the British GT Championship, including the Donington Decider in October which saw Kiern Jewiss and Charles Dawson claim the outright GT3 crown. The same event also featured the final rounds of this year’s GB4 Championship partnered by the BRDC, with Ary Bansal emerging as the champion from Isaac Phelps and Daniel Guinchard.

The MSV-operated GB3 Championship crowned its champion in the East Midlands, albeit a round early, with one event still to run at Monza later that month. But it was a deserved title for Australian Alex Ninovic, who won nine races against a stellar cast of international single-seater hopefuls.

Other special highlights of note included Oulton Park’s Historic Gold Cup weekend, which was headlined this year by a special celebration of the BRM Grand Prix marque. Snetterton hosted rounds of all of Britain’s major championships, while Cadwell Park’s Bennetts BSB event was a non-stop party once again.

All that and more kept the circuits busy, with a series of fireworks displays wrapping things up towards the tail end of the year. Brands Hatch once again brought the season to a close with a big bang, courtesy of the British Truck Racing Championship finale in front of a sellout crowd, ahead of a Guy Fawkes spectacular in the evening. Oulton Park and Cadwell Park, meanwhile, held similar displays alongside their end of season stage rallies.

The entertainment didn’t end there though. Indeed, Brands Hatch went on to host a first ever edition of its Winter Lights Spectacular festive light trail during the final weeks of the year, whilst Cadwell Park hosted a sold out family driving day, with customers exploring the circuit at safe road speeds.

Beyond that, Circuito de Navarra in northern Spain played host to another busy year of motorsport, including two rounds of the Spanish Superbike Championship and an F1 Academy test. Another ongoing project which has continued apace throughout this year has been the redevelopment of the spectacular 1790 Grade II* listed Donington Hall property into a superb 49 bedroom hotel.

In the autumn, MSV announced its acquisition of the respected Motorsport News publication. The paper has received a new, improved look already, and plans are underway to ensure a bright future for the historic title.

We're already looking forward to opening our gates to fans for much more in 2026. A strong calendar is in place for next year, with many event tickets and season passes available to purchase now.

We're closing for the festive break from 1pm on Wednesday 24 December but we will be open for business once more on Monday 5 January. Please bear with us as any email or social media enquiries sent between now and then will be responded to when we return.

Until then, everyone at MSV would like to wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year! Stay safe and we'll look forward to seeing you in 2026.
