Historic Wolds Trophy - Cadwell Park

The Lincolnshire Wolds' prestigious past as the host of top line racing events will be celebrated at the Historic Sports Car Club's Worlds Trophy this summer, with a packed programme of races featuring beautiful cars from yesteryear.

The stars of the show will be a variety of cars from Formula Three's past, recalling an era when the top junior single-seater aces of the day regularly battled at Cadwell Park. This era famously ended in 1983 when the titanic battle between Ayrton Senna and Martin Brundle headed to Lincolnshire.

Other highlights will include races for Historic Touring Cars, staring a glorious selection of Lotus Cortinas and Hillman Imps,
