North Humberside Rally
Cadwell Park
Sunday 16 November 2014

Established in 1968, the North Humberside Motor Club promotes numerous motorsport events throughout the year. Having run the North Humberside Forest Rally 21 times between 1987 and 2008, the club's current events are the York-based John Overend Memorial Stages rally and, new for 2014, a multi-use stage rally at Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire.

The North Humberside Stage Rally ends Cadwell Park's 2014 season in style with eight stages using parts of the undulating circuit, some of which will be run in the reverse direction, paddock and access roads. The final two stages will be run after sunset, bringing the spectacle of blazing headlights, flaming exhausts and glowing brake discs to Lincolnshire!

Up to 60 cars have been entered for the event, and range from humble hatchbacks and classic rear-wheel-drive Ford Escorts, to rally specials, including the iconic Subaru Impreza and Mitsubishi Evo. For a full entry list click here

Subaru Impreza

Expect to see several varieties of Subaru Impreza throughout the day. This car captured the imagination of a generation in the hands of Colin McRae with Richard Burns and Petter Solberg also achieving global success in the Japanese motoring icon!

Mitsubishi Evo

Long considered the top rival of the Impreza, various guises of this rally special claimed world championships with Tommi Makinen at the helm. Expect to see several versions of this rally great in action.

Ford Escort

The Ford Escort remains one of the most iconic rally cars of all time, winning 20 World Rallies between 1975 and 1981, including the 1977 RAC Rally, which featured a stage at Oulton Park. Don't be surprised if you see a few of these get sideways!

Darrian T90

These unique machines are custom prepared rally specials, several of which compete in club rallying. You'll find these lightweight beasts near the top of the timesheets!
