Mazda will provide a substantial helping of the action with two series catering for the iconic MX5 roadster. The BRSCC Mazda MX5 Championship sees varied grids of the lightweight Japanese machines competing for honours, whilst the BRSCC Mazda MX5 SuperCup Championship is exclusively for the newer Mk3 model.

Ford is another brand heavily represented in the paddock this weekend. The Advantage Motorsport Ford XR Challenge is particularly competitive. Low costs and the entertaining racing produced allow grid sizes to remain healthy despite the relatively old machinery. The Vortex Motorsport News Fiesta Junior Championship will also be on track, providing aspiring in top stars of the future somewhere to cut their teeth. Alfa Romeo will be yet another marque with a strong contingent at this meeting.

The Northern Saloon and Sportscar Championship will complete the bill, with everything from Caterhams to Peugeot hatchbacks lining up on the grid.

1 Az Edwards

BRSCC Mazda MX5 Championship

This championship sees drivers go head to head in these compact Japanese roadsters. Close competition in these speedy little sports cars attracts large grids and produces great racing.

2 Eddie Whitham

Advantage Motorsport Ford XR Challenge

Run to Group N specification this event, for Ford XRs, is one of the most fiercely contested one make series at club level. Low cost and entertaining races ensure that grids remain healthy despite the relative old age of the machinery.

3 Az Edwards

BRSCC Alfashop Alfa Romeo Championship

The Alfa Romeo brand is an evocative one, with many of racing's most iconic and beautiful cars coming from the Italian marquee. It's no surprise then that healthy grids continue to thrive, fuelled by the nostalgia of the Alfa name.

4 Eddie Whitham

Northern Saloon and Sportscar Championship

Northern Saloons and Sportscars are notable for the eclectic, seemingly mismatched fields it produces. The assortment of shapes and sizes that we see from this series are seldom seen today and that along with exciting racing makes them a welcome addition to the bill.

5 Az Edwards

BRSCC Mazda MX5 SuperCup Championship

Exclusively for Mk3 model MX5s, this championship is another that allows drivers to battle each other in evenly matched, fun machinery.

6 Az Edwards

Vortex Motorsport News Fiesta Junior Championship

This series allows teenage drivers to cut their teeth in a relatively inexpensive tin top. Naivety and relative inexperience can often produce exciting races as these young chargers scrap for top honours!

7 Az Edwards

BRSCC ARCA Alfa Romeo Pre- 91 Trophy

Alfa Romeo further adds to their nostalgic portfolio of track activity with their Pre- 91 Trophy. This contest sees older spec Alfas such as the 75 and the 33 trying to best each other in a retro square off.
