Alan Healy Memorial Rally
Cadwell Park
Sunday 06 April 2014

Cadwell Park's first four wheeled event of the season, The Alan Healy Memorial Rally, takes place this weekend (6 April). This will be the third running of the Border Motor Club event, named in honour of the organisation's late president and founder member.

An eclectic entry list will feature everything from retro rally favourites to modern WRC-spec specials in a tour de force of traction technology. At the nostalgic end of the scale you will be able to see Ford Escorts, Lotus Sunbeams and Opel Mantas. More recent machinery will include a host of modern classics, Subaru Imprezas and Mitsubishi Evos foremost amongst them.

Instead of using the more orthodox track layout that we're used to seeing, this weekend's event will feature a number of bespoke rally stages. Both the circuit and its access roads will be used, creating an event quite like any other at the Lincolnshire circuit.

The paddock will be open to the public, allowing rally fans to come in and meet the teams and drivers as well as get a closer look at the cars that comprise a packed entry.

ADVANCE BOOKING HAS NOW CLOSED. TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE AT THE GATE.
